Manuscript Critiques

The centerpiece of the R(ev)ise and Shine! mission is to help other writers grow. We offer a host of opportunities for writers to work one-on-one with our experienced mentors who can offer editorial feedback on works-in-progress at all stages.

Each of us has our own unique approach to helping other writers, as well as our own preferences for the types of projects we take on. To learn more, click on the mentor links below to see who best fits your needs and then fill out an application at the bottom of this page for the service(s) you’re requesting.

Choose Your Mentor

The Process

  • Step 1

You’ll fill out the application for the service linked below, describing yourself, your project, and selecting first and second choice for mentor.

  • Step 2

We’ll review your application & let you know who you’ve been matched with. Due to schedules, you may not always get your first choice, but we will do our best to accommodate you.

  • Step 3

You and your mentor will agree on a fee and schedule for your particular project. Please note that fees for some services range depending on length and type of project.

  • Step 4

Hooray! You’ll submit your work to your mentor as arranged between the two of you and await feedback.
